Step #1 : Firefox Step #2 : Add extensions Step #3 : Install Adblock and Flashblock ...Problem solved. It always amazes me when I browse the internet using someone elses computer... I forget how sh*tty it is when you don't have a well tuned browser. -darc |

^ I'm kind of lazy, that's why I've never done that. The advertisements don't usually annoy me enough to cause me to do that.
But I HAVE had the ads on proboards scream at me lately and it hurt my ears. It was pretty awful.

Seriously, I checked this site earlier today on my cell without adblock enabled and I was like "god damn... how do these people stand looking at this sh*t?!?!"... now I'm at home and I'm looking at a nice clean forum with no stupid ads.... -darc |

I aint computer lit... Where is "add extensions"? I think he means go here??? addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/And download those two add-ons. Maybe these add-ons are different, but usually they work automatically after you download them. |

I'm serious... after a few months you get spoiled and if you see the internet without your extensions installed then you're going to be like 'how the hell do people deal with this sh*t??' But, glad you got it figured out... it's going to make you so much happier when you stop and realize all the sh*t you're not seeing (most of the time it goes unnoticed... which is how the best technologies are) -darc |

I have never got a talking ad on proboards before, but I get them on other sites and they ALWAYS freak me out.
