the fact that he broke tos is a good reason for his ban however everyone has broken tos on here so why arent we all banned...i tend to hijack thread, others swear, some use racsim, why arent we all banned, its still breaking tos

this is only a guess so dont get mad at me, maybe tfe did it a lot more than others?
maybe i shouldn't get involved in this since i wasn't here when it happened.
all i can account for is his behavior on support before he was banned the first time

Yet again, this thread isn't about why he was banned or anything. I'm saying that with all the childishness that people have to put up with when they have differing opinions, the boards are getting a) ridiculously hostile towards people who don't conform and b) really BORING when everyone just sits around and agrees all day.

well he did do it alot, but i wouldnt sar did it more than everyone else, and thats not what the tread is really about its about how everyone on here gets offened by a little immaturity, its like people on here are all tight a$$'s... so i have hijacked another thread bwahaha..i broke tos ban me... ban me!!!!!

hijacking isn't a tos violation. it's a yarny violation.
i know I come here to read/relax after stressful days on OIT. i'm not in the mood to fight with someone 10 years younger than me. there's no point in that. and i really dont think certain people should be sticking up for him at all. the ones who are, are the ones who were never attacked by him.
this fight could go on for months and each side will never see eye to eye. i personally dont think he's going to be given a 6th chance. he screwed up the last 5 times..
if it's that big a deal to talk to him, use email.
the only thing that can be done is pleasing the majority since you can't individually please 200 people. so if the majority wants him out (majority as in over 80%) then this whole topic should be dropped.

If you're not in the mood to fight with someone, then DON'T DO IT. That's the point I'm trying to make. All you people who were "horribly, horribly wronged" by TFE are making it sound like you HAD to argue with him and you HAD to read what he said, when you didn't!

YOU AREN'T LISTENING EITHER. THEY SAID THEY WEREN'T REPLYING TO HIM. HE JUST SEND PM CRAP FOR NO REASON.
HE WAS GONE FOR OVER A MONTH, THEN HE'S LET BACK, MAYBE THEY ASSUMED HE WAS APOLOGIZING FOR HIS PAST BEHAVIOR. DURING THAT TIME I FORGOT HE EXISTED.
I DONT THINK ANYONE WHO WAS ATTACKED IS BEING CHILDISH AT ALL. THEY ARE EXPRESSING HOW THEY FEEL.

Did I say they replied to the PM stuff? No. Did I say that it was right for him to send PMs lke that? No. I said that if you don't like someone, ignore them. This includes PM. You have no right to be offended by something when you view it knowing you don't get along with the person who sent it.
Also, when I started this thread, I knew nothing of the PMs. What I was addressing was the thread about it, where Alex DeLarge was the one who started all the trouble in that thread, joined by nighthawk. THEN TFE started defending himself.

I'm asking for everyone to forget about it at least publically and stop being so damn offended about everything, at least to the eyes of the boards. If you want to be offended by something that is clearly either a) not meant to be offensive or b) said by someone you dislike, then do it on your own time and stop dredging up something that happened months ago. As I've said before, I get offended by people here all the time sometimes, but I keep my mouth shut (so to speak) because I know that it's MY problem, not the whole damn board's. |

okay granted,
but don't you think that decisions should be made based on the overall interest of the forum? you're not going to change the minds of so many people. i don't think he should be allowed back because you, brian, and rachel like him.
if everyone agreed to a truce, maybe. if more people wanted him back, maybe...
at this point in time i dont think the board would benefit from his posts.

Like I said, I'm not arguing for him to come back. Yes, I disagree with him being banned this time. However, the only person who needs to know my arguments on him being banned is yarny, and she does. I'm not petitioning for him to come back, I'm not asking for him to come back, or anything.
And no, I don't think it should be based on the opinions of the majority. It should be based on TOS violations and nothing else. Just because you're in the majority doesn't mean you're right.
