I was driving at ~70mph on the freeway, then my car slowed down to 50 and i couldn't get anything out of it
This lasted for about a minute then it seemed to 'fix' itself.
What could cause this and should i expect it to happen again soon?

Probably have a vacuum leak - go down to Autozone and get a gallon of vacuum and fill up your reservoir.
