My least favorite part of summer. There was a fireworks show on campus and it was ridiculously loud. It's across campus from me and I could still hear them in my room. I almost started crying  |

Dont you need a license to do that? i doubt 20 year olds have a firework license. Call the cops lol

It's campus sponsered. The university police were probably up there supervising.

Our quiet hours vary from dorm to dorm, but they generally don't start until 10pm or so. The fireworks went off around 8. They're done now, though.

Wasn't watching them, didn't want to. Loud noises freak me out. There was a full minute of it where it was steady explosions, and I almost started crying. And I'm all alone, so that made it even worse |

Yeah. That's actually why it bothered me, because I'm terrified of thunder. If it's loud and it doesn't sound like thunder, it'll startle me but not scare me.

why dont you get a pair of ear muff things... ya know, the ones that people use when they work in big loud factories and stuff? my dad has a bunch of pairs, and my little brother always steals one of them when we go to see fireworks. it cuts down on the noise alot.
or... just put on some headphones and drowned it out with music.
