lithiumkat , Just a vague clue for you. Things may not be what they seem on the first day. Santa has Christmas planned for you in a special way. You must always keep open your eyes. There's a lot more to your surprise. I must admit...I am incredibly intrigued at this point! I am super excited to find out what this may mean... Some things may have wrapping and some may not. Feel free to ask questions if you receive a box. I do know a big Christmas secret to keep you in belief. Santa has a few surprises up their sleeve. Keep your eyes wide open and your spirits tall. What happens today might not be all.

Well! I recieved a box with some wrapped things today. I considered leaving them alone but ya'll...I can't do it. For so so very many reasons. (I'm happy to discuss all the reasons I have for my open upon arrival/receiving policy if you're interested) Now I've seen the most recent clue Christina has put out there which indicates that there has been perhaps a bit of planning for a "naughty lister" like me who upons upon receiving...There is likely something coming later that I will HAVE to wait to open because it won't be here until later lol. Which is fine. Quite funny/cute actually. I will try and get my digital camera out later and take pictures if you'd like to see I sent my gift off today. If you are mad I opened early...I don't know what to tell ya...I'm staying true to how I roll it's not just for this it's how I roll around this time of year in general, again, if you'd like to know why I'm happy to tell ya in more detail. But you shouldn't be surprised because I said that's what I was going to do I like the things I received and if my Santa/Elf wants to make me wait by sending something later then more power to them...I guess that is one way to deal with an "early opener" like myself. Love you guys! I'm so glad I chose to participate in this. I know I'm still a relative newbie around here but it's been so much fun to get to know and interact with everyone on this activity and to feel like I'm involved in something. I will probably try and participate in this every year if it's an ongoing thing....if ya'll don't kick me out cuz I'm an early opener... FYI: I am thrilled with my items and one thing in particular I am very grateful to have opened early because it will be a very great thing for me and the other half to get through him working crazy hours and finding a way to reconnect and rejuvenate from long working hours and feeling frazzled from working so much/so much stay at home momming (yes I just used the term Momming...that's a thing)

lithiumkat, No one is mad at you. We say everything in good fun. If you do receive something else in your stocking, your Santa would probably really appreciate it if you wait. When you do your unboxing, make your own thread and update it as necessary.

When you do your unboxing, make your own thread and update it as necessary. Ok, that sounds like a good plan. Thank you for the reassurance, lol. I've always been a bit troublesome with being impulsive and what not if I'm honest. I have totally gotten the picture that there is a good possibility that something may show up that would encourage waiting for and I can totally get the hint and get on board. Especially if it is so meaningful to you guys that waiting is important, perhaps if I continue to participate in years to come I can put forth some practice in self-discipline and try and make myself wait. LOL I'm not sure where I would put gifts here that would be very safe from my children..lol. I'm running out of room in my closet stash of things I've already hidden. My 4 year old would be quick to get into anything accessible and so would my 1 year old for that matter lol. Perhaps next time something comes I shall tell my hubs to hide it since others get a lot out of the wait to open it approach. Good to know that it's all in good fun though, sometimes I struggle to gauge how serious someone is in something (even in real life) and I get anxious. I'll try to get some pictures and make a thread. Ya'll are truly awesome! PS: I would tell my recipient to open right away too, but I decided not to reveal myself yet. Christina said we could either reveal within the package or we could choose not to and keep the mystery going. I thought about including a card or note that said, I encourage you to open right away, does this mean you know who I am? Because I thought SURELY that would allow them to guess who their Secret Santa was lol. But I decided not to, I don't know why...I just didn't.

lithiumkatI am not in Secret Santa. An unknown party sent me a message that makes no sense. I love how everyone tries to be deceptive lol. "Tell lithiumkat her front door is loved." *shrugs* Don't shoot the messenger.

I'll keep an eye out and if something happens to turn up I'll hide it with the kids stash and make sure it stays safe until Christmas day when I have kiddos opening their things.

Perhaps I haven't been able to check my PO box again yet. I will have to get out and check today. We live in a tiny town and I live close enough to the post office that it doesnt' come direct to my home but stays at my PO box instead. I am stay at home mama with 2 kids so sometimes I don't get to the box to check it but every few days! My other half had an all day long work thing out of town and it was snowing all day on Saturday so I did NOT get out to the post office lol, I stayed in with the kids. I'll send him to check this afternoon once the Post Office opens at noon. Thanks for the heads up.
